Two members of Veridian Credit Union's Board of Directors have received recognition from the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES ® ). Roosevelt Taylor and DeLon R. Gobeli have been inducted into the CUES Director Hall of Fame and were honored at the organization's Director Conference on December 6, 2009.
This is the inaugural year for the Director Hall of Fame and each inductee is a past CUES Director of the Year. The honor recognizes the inductee's commitment to improving their organizations and communities.
Taylor, a Deere & Company retiree, currently serves on Veridian's Board of Directors. He has been past Chair and has served on all committees. Taylor continues education through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Volunteer Achievement Program. He is a member of the United Auto Workers Local 838 and is an active community volunteer.
Gobeli, a Deere Engine Works retiree, also currently serves on Veridian's Board of Directors. He has been past Chair, Chief Financial Officer and has served on all committees. Gobeli serves on the Black Hawk Credit Union Chapter, Iowa's Family Involvement and Credit Union Foundation boards. He also serves in leadership positions in various professional and community organizations.
