- - - Members of Veridian Credit Union helped decide the future of the credit union at the 76th Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 24. The event was held at Tama Hall at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo.
Five volunteers were elected to three-year terms on its Board of Directors – Elizabeth Caven, Thomas DeLong, Paul Gengler, DeLon R. Gobeli, and Ginger Shirley. Michael Tryon was elected to a one-year term.
At the organizational meeting held on Monday, April 26, the following officers were elected – James Kacher – Chair, Creston Van Wey - Chief Financial Officer, Dave R. Schultz - First Vice Chair, Paul Gengler - Second Vice Chair, and Ginger Shirley – Secretary.
Veridian Credit Union, founded in 1934 in Waterloo, Iowa, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members.
