- - - Veridian Credit Union is pleased to announce the winners of the 2010 Veridian scholarship program.
In the Incoming Freshman category, Brittney Ubben of Aplington was awarded a $1,000 scholarship, and Chloe Haley of Tripoli was awarded a $500 scholarship. Veridian also honored Nathan Temeyer of Polk City with a $1,000 Undergraduate scholarship, and Iowa City native, Kendra Frush, received a $1,000 Graduate scholarship.
Marion High School student, Taylor Buckley, was awarded a $1,000 ArtShare Scholarship. The Veridian ArtShare Scholarship supports the development of outstanding high school students who excel in the arts and plan to pursue educational programs leading to a career in the arts.
Ellen Gardner of Central City received a $1,500 Family Involvement Board (FIB) Scholarship, and Zachary Illg of Des Moines was awarded a $750 FIB Scholarship from the Iowa Credit Union Foundation.
