Veridian Credit Union's Georgetown branch is now open in north Ankeny. We have a long history with our members in Ankeny, and we are excited to grow with our community. To celebrate, we asked you to help us select four local nonprofits to receive a donation of up to $2,500, and the votes are in!

ICAN's mission is to empower Iowans to achieve lifelong success through education, training, and informed decision-making.
Planning for a career and college, filing for financial aid and mastering your financial situation can be confusing and intimidating. For that reason, ICAN's team of Student Success Advisors work directly with Iowa students and their families since 1998.

IMPACT Community Action Partnership

IMPACT Community Action Partnership reduces the barriers and burdens that central Iowa families in poverty experience by increasing access to essential needs. This includes food, housing, utility assistance, and more. Last year, in Ankeny, we served 2,345 individuals in 947 families. This included 906 children and 251 older residents.

On With Life

On With Life began 30 years ago as the dream of eight families - a dedicated, passionate group of survivors faced with the challenge of rebuilding lives shattered by brain injury. Since then, On With Life has expanded from a single inpatient program to seven programs across Iowa, serving more than 1,000 individuals a year.

Can Do Cancer

Can Do Cancer is a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in Des Moines, Ames and surrounding areas. Can Do Cancer provides dinner for patients and their families on chemotherapy days, house cleaning services and motivational support by breast cancer survivors.
