Money magazine has named Veridian among the Best Banks and Credit Unions in the Midwest for second consecutive year.

For the second consecutive year, Money magazine has named Veridian Credit Union among the top five "Best Banks and Credit Unions in the Midwest." Veridian was recently recognized for offering the “Best Customer Satisfaction” in a 12-state region, including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. In 2023, Veridian was included in Money’s Midwest ranking for offering the Best Rates, specifically noting our Premium Plus Checking.
“As a credit union, Veridian’s customers are members and owners in our cooperative,” said Veridian’s President and CEO Renee Christoffer. “That structure is intentionally designed to benefit consumers. Being recognized for their satisfaction with our service is among the greatest honors we could receive.”
This year, Money’s regional ranking recognizes one bank or credit union in each of five categories, including Free Checking, Interest in Checking, CDs, Customer Satisfaction and Overall. To determine the winners in each category, editors review data on minimum balance requirements, interest rates, monthly fees, online accessibility and more.
