Newsweek Recognition 2026

Veridian Credit Union has been recognized on Newsweek’s 2026 list of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions. The ranking identifies the top 500 regional banks and 500 regional credit unions across the United States.

"To be recognized by a program that prioritizes a focus on financial stability and consumer experience is the highest honor we could receive."

Newsweek partnered with Plant-A Insights Group to conduct a nationwide study of more than 8,800 banks and credit unions. The evaluation included:

• Financial benchmarks: stability, credit quality, and net loans and leases

• Customer surveys: feedback from an independent survey of 66,000 U.S. consumers between July and September 2025, plus responses from 70,000 participants in prior studies

• Digital reviews: analysis of 2.3 million social media reviews and 80 million mobile app reviews from Apple and Google

• Reputation checks: third party news media monitoring from December 2023 to December 2025

Institutions were scored across 12 categories, including customer service, perks and benefits, and fees and interest rates. Data from more than 140,000 respondents was considered, making it one of the largest studies of its kind. Veridian's inclusion on the list reflects our strong financial performance and positive member feedback, placing Veridian among the most trusted regional credit unions in the country.
