What is a savings account?

Our savings account was created as a way to share Veridian’s success with our members. When the credit union has a prosperous year, profits are shared in the form of dividends and deposited into the account.

Our savings account earns a higher rate than at most other financial institutions. There is a $5 minimum balance, which qualifies you for lifetime membership at Veridian. Interest is computed daily and dividends are posted monthly when a balance of $50 is maintained.
