Why is there a hold on my ATM deposit?

There is a 2 business day hold placed on deposits made through all ATMs to allow financial institutions enough time to verify the content of each deposit before the funds are released. The hold also provides time for financial institutions to contact Veridian Credit Union if there are any problems with a deposit. The first $225 of the total daily ATM deposit is available for immediate withdrawal.
