How does Overdraft Protection work?

If a check, electronic withdraw, or debit card purchase attempts to pull from your checking, and there are not enough funds in the checking account, Overdraft Protection will look into secondary sources (i.e. Savings accounts, Money Market, or Quick Draw loans that share the same ownership structure as your checking account) for funds to clear the draft.  Overdraft Protection will transfer only the amount needed to clear the draft.
