Veridian Credit Union is set to open its doors at the corner of Ingersoll Avenue and Martin Luther King Junior Parkway in Des Moines on Monday, June 15. The branch is part of a high-density, mixed-use building that completes the third and final phase of the Ingersoll Square development on the intersection’s northeast corner.
“This branch is the result of years of collaboration between Veridian, the City of Des Moines and developer Newbury Living,” said Rusty Naber, Veridian branch manager. “We all took great care to ensure this last phase of development meets the unique needs of the neighborhood and the city, and we couldn’t be more excited for it to open.”
The branch’s exterior offers a B-cycle bike-sharing station, semi-enclosed drive-up with video kiosks and 24-hour ATM. The interior encloses 4,640 square feet with safe deposit boxes, a self-serve coin machine and a community room offering free meeting space to members and local community groups.
This is Veridian’s eighth branch in the Des Moines metro area, and its 27th branch state-wide. A grand opening event is scheduled for Thursday, June 25 from 3-6 p.m. In conjunction with the opening of its 27th branch, Veridian is also celebrating with an introductory 0.27% APR* on any home equity loan.
