Veridian Gives Back for Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is just around the corner and, once again, we’re looking forward to supporting our communities. But in honor of our 90^th anniversary, we’re making a bigger impact this year. We’re giving away a total of $90,000 to your favorite nonprofit organizations in Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota.

"Veridian was founded 90 years ago on the need to support our communities and the people in them,” said Veridian President and CEO Renee Christoffer. “It’s appropriate for our anniversary celebrations to reflect those values that still guide us today.”

We want to invite you to nominate your favorite local nonprofit organization between November 1 – 10. They’ll be entered to win up to $15,000!

After the nomination period, we’ll start by drawing three nominated organizations from the five regions we serve to receive a $5,000 donation. One additional organization will receive the grand donation of $15,000.

To be eligible, nominated nonprofits must work to address one of Veridian's five funding priorities: affordable housing; basic human needs; diversity, equity and inclusion; employment readiness and financial literacy. To help ensure equal opportunity between large and small nonprofit organizations, each nominated organization will receive one entry in the drawing regardless of the number of times it was nominated.
