The Des Moines Register has recognized Veridian Credit Union with two awards for workplace and leadership as part of its annual Top Workplaces program. Veridian was named a Top Iowa Workplace in the large employer category for employee feedback collected through the Energage Workplace Survey. In that survey, Veridian employees also expressed the highest level of agreement among all large employers with the question, “I have confidence in the leader of this company,” awarding Veridian President and CEO Renee Christoffer the Top Workplaces Leadership Award.
Knowing that these awards are founded in feedback gathered directly from our employees is what makes them so meaningful,” said Veridian’s Chief People Officer Shawna Matz. “Veridian’s a great place because of our people. Being recognized for that is one of the top honors we could receive.”
Top Workplaces are determined by quantitative employee feedback collected through the Energage Workplace Survey. In 2024, a total of 132 Iowa employers are recognized as Top Iowa Workplaces in three size categories, including employers with (1) 35-149 employees, (2) 150-499 employees and (3) 500+ employees.
