Georgetown Prize Wheel Sweepstakes

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Membership at Veridian Credit Union ("Veridian") is not necessary to enter or win and will not increase your chances of winning. Void outside of Iowa and where prohibited by law. By participating, entrance agree to these official rules and the decisions of Veridian, which are final and binding in all maters related to the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes.

1. Start and End Date. All entries must be submitted between 12:00 am CDT on Friday, November 12, 2021 and 11:59 pm CDT on Friday, November 19, 202
2. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of Iowa who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Not open to Veridian employees, Board of Directors or any of their respective affiliates or immediate family members. Void where prohibited by law.
3. How to Enter. Individuals may enter the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes by visiting https://www.veridiancu.org/georgetown and completing the supplied registration form in its entirety. Entrants are required to provide (a) first and last name and (b) current valid email address. Limit of one entry per email address per contest.
4. Alternate Method of Entry. Individuals may also enter the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes by printing the words “Veridian Credit Union Georgetown Prize Wheel Sweepstakes” and their full name, address, contact information, and date on a 3X5 card or postcard and mailing it (1 per envelope) to: Veridian Credit Union Prize Wheel Sweepstakes, Attn: Public Relations, Ankeny Main, P.O. Box 6000, Waterloo, IA 5070 Mail-in entries must be received by Tuesday, November 9, 2021. An employee of Veridian Credit Union will enter and spin the wheel on behalf of all received main-in entries.
5. Random Odds. Winners will be selected at random during the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes. Winner will receive the prize listed on the wedge of the prize wheel the ticker randomly selects. The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries. 1,000 total winners will be selected. Limit of 1 prize per person.
6. Disclaimer. Veridian assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware, or other technical failures; or any other reason, including but not limited to incomplete, damaged, misdirected, or lost entries by mail or otherwise. If, for any reason, the fairness or integrity of the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes becomes compromised, Veridian reserves the right to terminate or modify the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes, and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the administration of the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes.
7. Prizes. Each winner will receive 1 prize dependent on the wedge of the prize wheel the ticker randomly lands on.  Prize packages include:
   1. Wedge 1: A Veridian gift. Retail value of each package is approximately $5.00. 975 prizes available.
   2. Wedge 2: $50 cash prize. Retail value of the package is $50.00. 10 prizes available.
   3. Wedge 3: 1 gift card. Retail Value of the package is $25.00. 15 prizes available.

   Winners are responsible for paying all taxes, fees, and expenses relating to winning or using the prize.

8. Winner Notification. Winners will be notified on the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes webpage immediately after spinning. Winners must pick up their prize at Veridian Credit Union at 2180 N. Ankeny Blvd., Ankeny, IA 50023 by November 30, 2021. Prizes can be picked up the following business day during regular lobby business hours. Lobby business hours can be found at veridiancu.org/locations/georgetown. Unclaimed prizes may be disposed of at Veridian’s discretion.
9. Release. Entrants authorize Veridian to use their name, voice, and likeness in promotional material and for advertising, public relations, editorial, and all other permissible purposes worldwide, in any media, in perpetuity, or on a winner’s list without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
10. Limitation of Liability. Veridian is not responsible for any damage or losses of any kind that may be sustained resulting from entering or participation in the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes. By entering or participating in this Prize Wheel Sweepstakes, the entrant agrees that Veridian, its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, media partners shall not be liable for any loss, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes or resulting from the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes’ participation, or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse, of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, privacy or defamation. Veridian is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials. To the fullest extent permitted by relevant law, everything in connection with this PRIZE WHEEL Sweepstakes, including the prize, is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
11. Dispute Resolution. Except where prohibited, by participating in the Prize Wheel Sweepstakes, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant(s) and Veridian and its agents shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this contest, or awarding of the prizes, shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Iowa and entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited, by participating in this contest, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest, or awarding of the prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
