Ghouls and Glow Giveaway Sweepstakes

MEMBERSHIP AT VERIDIAN CREDIT UNION (“VERIDIAN”) IS NOT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN AND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID OUTSIDE OF IOWA AND NEBRASKA AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. BY PARTICIPATING, ENTRANTS AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF VERIDIAN, WHICH ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES.

1. Start and End Date. All entries must be submitted between 10:00 am CDT on Friday, September 13, 2019 and 11:59 p.m. CDT on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
2. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of Iowa who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and legal residents of Nebraska who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. Not open to employees of Veridian or any of their respective affiliates or immediate family members. Void where prohibited by law.
3. How to Enter. Individuals may enter the Sweepstakes by visiting https://www.veridiancu.org/omahazoo and completing the supplied registration form in its entirety. Entrants are required to provide (a) first and last name, (b) current valid email address and (c) city and state of residence. Limit of one entry per email address per contest. Entrants may earn additional contest entries by inviting others to enter the contest, provided the referred entrants access the registration form through the referring entrant’s personalized link and complete the registration form in its entirety.
4. Alternate Method of Entry. Individuals may also enter the Sweepstakes by printing the words “Veridian Credit Union Ghouls and Glow Sweepstakes” and their full name, address, contact information, date, and name of concert on a 3x5 card or postcard and mailing it (1 per envelope) to: Veridian Credit Union Sweepstakes, Attn: Marketing, 1827 Ansborough Avenue., Waterloo, IA 50701. Mail-in entries must be received by Friday, October 18, 2019.
5. Random Drawing. A random drawing will be held on for before the following dates to select a total of five (5) Sweepstakes winners from all eligible entries:
   • Monday, September 23, 2019
   • Monday, September 30, 2019
   • Monday, October 7, 2019
   • Monday, October 14, 2019
   • Monday, October 21, 2019
     Drawing date is subject to change without notice. The winner will receive 1 family four pack of tickets. The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries. Limit of 1 prize per household.
6. Disclaimer. Veridian assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware, or other technical failures; or any other reason, including but not limited to incomplete, damaged, misdirected, or lost entries by mail or otherwise. If, for any reason, the fairness or integrity of the Sweepstakes becomes compromised, Veridian reserves the right to terminate or modify the Sweepstakes, and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the administration of the Sweepstakes.
7. Prizes. One winner will receive a family four pack of tickets to one of the Ghouls and Glow events. Retail value of prize package is approximately $72. Winner is responsible for paying all taxes, fees, and expenses relating to winning or using the prize.
8. Winner Notification. Winners will be notified by email within one business day of the applicable drawing date. Failure to respond to notification within 24 hours, an inability of Veridian to reach a potential prize winner, or a return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in forfeiture of prize. Unclaimed prizes may be disposed of at Veridian’s discretion.
9. Release. Entrants authorize Veridian to use their name, voice, and likeness in promotional material and for advertising, public relations, editorial, and all other permissible purposes worldwide, in any media, in perpetuity, or on a winner’s list without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
10. Limitation of Liability. Veridian is not responsible for any damage or losses of any kind that may be sustained resulting from entering or participation in the Sweepstakes. By entering or participating in this Sweepstakes, the entrant agrees that Veridian, its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, media partners shall not be liable for any loss, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Sweepstakes or resulting from the Sweepstakes’ participation, or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse, of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, privacy or defamation. Veridian is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY RELEVANT LAW, EVERYTHING IN CONNECTION WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING THE PRIZE, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Dispute Resolution. Except where prohibited, by participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant(s) and Veridian and its agents shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this contest, or awarding of the prizes, shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Iowa and entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited, by participating in this contest, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest, or awarding of the prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
