If you misplace your card, you can temporarily turn it off in seconds. Select My Cards under the Cards menu in online banking. While you’re there, set alerts and purchase limits for each card on your account.
Replacing a damaged card just got easier. The Cards menu in online banking has a Report Card Lost or Stolen option where you can request a new card. Cards can still be printed in minutes at any branch or mailed to you.
You can also use this option to permanently block your card if it is lost or stolen. Without internet? Notify us immediately by calling (800) 235-3228 during regular business hours and (800) 289-9632 after hours.
Let us know when you’re traveling to a different state or country so we don't flag your purchases as fraud. Go to Manage Travel Plans under the Cards menu in online banking.
There must be enough money in the account you choose to have the payment withdrawn from before the transaction will process successfully. Ways to pay:
- Make your payment by transferring money from a Veridian or external account in Online Banking or our mobile app. You can even set up recurring transfers to pay your bill automatically each month. Learn how.
- Set up preauthorized monthly payments from an account at another financial institution with ACH debit payment.
- Make a one-time payment from another financial institution or credit card* using Veridian’s online payment center. You will be charged a $10 fee and it will take up to three business days for the payment to be credited to your loan. This service cannot be used to pay balances on Veridian credit cards.
- Stop into a branch or contact us.
*Does not include Visa credit cards. Cards that are available for payments include: Visa debit card, Mastercard credit and debit cards, and Discover cards.

Contactless Payments
All Veridian credit cards come equipped with tap-to-pay technology. Each tap transaction uses a unique code, keeping your card information safe from identity theft. If the merchant isn’t set up for tap-to-pay, you can still insert or swipe your card as necessary.
Mobile Payments
Add your card to digital wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay so you can use it on the go. A virtual card number replaces your actual card number in each transaction.
Transfer balances from higher interest rate credit cards to your Veridian credit card. There is not a fee to do a balance transfer to a Veridian credit card. Interest will begin accruing when you begin the transfer. To start a balance transfer, select Transfers in online banking or our mobile app. You may also contact us to begin.
Please note balance transfers are not eligible to earn rewards points.
To get a cash advance from your Veridian credit card, you can transfer money from your credit card account in online banking or our mobile app. You can also withdraw cash at an ATM. Although Veridian doesn’t charge a cash advance fee, interest begins accruing at the time of the advance.

- Visa Signature
When you make a purchase, you earn points depending on your Loyalty Program status at that time. If you’re meeting the requirements, you earn 2 points for each dollar you spend. If you’re not, you earn 1.5 points per dollar. You can earn points equaling up to $4,000 cash back per year, which can be redeemed automatically or on your schedule. - Visa Platinum Rewards
Earn one point for every dollar you spend on purchases, then redeem them for cash, gift cards or merchandise. You can earn a maximum of 400,000 a year, and they expire after 60 months. - Please note that balance transfers and cash advances do not earn points. To manually claim cash back or spend your Visa Platinum Rewards points, use the Card Central widget in online banking.

You earn one point per dollar spent on purchases. You can earn more points during merchant promotions when you shop through the uChoose Rewards site. Points aren’t awarded on balance transfers, cash advances or convenience checks. You can earn up to 400,000 points in a year and they accrue by Visa account number (not card number).
Look for the Visa® Rewards section under Cards menu in online banking. You'll be able to view your point balance, redeem points for rewards and browse merchant promotions to earn extra points.
Points can be redeemed for a variety of items, such as: gift cards, cash rebates, travel, entertainment tickets and a variety of merchandise. Check the uChoose site often because specific items can change.
Points expire 60 months (5 years) after the date they are earned.
Filter Signature Card FAQs
You earn 1.5% cash back on purchases. If you meet the Loyalty Program qualifications, you earn 2% cash back on purchases. To qualify for the Loyalty Program, you must be enrolled in eDocs and maintain direct deposit to Veridian or, if unavailable, a minimum of 10 qualifying transactions per month.
Example: If you make a purchase of $1,000, while earning:
- 2%, you'll get 2,000 points that you can redeem for $20 cash back.
- 1.5%, you'll get 1,500 points that you can redeem for $15 cash back.
You can earn more points during merchant promotions when you shop through the uChoose Rewards site.

There are two options for how you would like to redeem your cash back:
- If you chose automatic redemption, your cash back is deposited into your designated Veridian account once a year in November.
- If you chose on demand, you can redeem your cash back at your convenience within the uChoose Rewards site. Look for the Visa Rewards section of the Cards menu in online banking to view your balance and cash out.
