Why am I getting Visa Activity Notices?

You will receive a Visa Activity Notice when you have a Visa debit transaction that enacts overdraft protection. These notices are generated if you keep a low balance in your share draft/checking account and have funds pull automatically from another account. For instance, if you use your debit card at a gas station, and sign for your purchase rather than inputting your PIN, you will receive a Visa Debit Activity notice letting you know that funds were pulled from your designated overdraft source.
