Who can access a Conservator membership?

Only the conservator is allowed access to a conservator membership. The conservator is appointed by the courts, and is responsible for using funds in the conservator membership for the incompetent individual's well being.

Because the Conservator is the only person allowed to transact, the incompetent individual cannot do the following:

• Cash checks
• Make deposits and withdrawals
• Obtain information about the conservator membership.
