Meet Chase

There’s no doubt, Chase loves the game of basketball. He enjoys sizing up opponents and giving them his best move.

But life has been far more than a game for Chase. Indeed, his toughest opponent has been DiGeorge Syndrome, and it’s a battle he continues to wage to this day.

DiGeorge Syndrome is a condition that impairs T-cell production, which compromises the physical and mental development of a person’s body systems. Chase has undergone numerous tests and surgeries, and his testimonial was used by the Children’s Miracle Network and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Because of DiGeorge Syndrome, Chase struggles with things that others don’t. And that’s why it’s especially important that he feels how much he’s valued every time he steps inside a Veridian branch.
